Hello
My name is Thomas Ahn, and I work for an independent research firm, Guidepoint Global, which is based in New York. Our company has a strong presence in several different medical device fields through a product we call the Guidepoint Global Tracker.
I am writing you today to see if anyone would be interested in joining our Microarray Study. As part of the study, we are asking you to take part in an easy to complete online survey once a month. The survey study I am currently recruiting for collects the actual number of microarrays used in various settings. Our goal is to follow microarray volume usage, as it relates to different manufacturer preference (Affymetrix, Illumina, etc…).
If you are interested in participating and learning more about the study, please contact me directly at tahn@guidepointglobal.com. We do provide incentives for participation.
Thank you for your time.

I'm a Phd student and I am working on Enzyme Assays on Chips. particularly I am working on the mass to point of a slide to be able to immobilize some inhibitors on the chip and therefore to test different protease using some fluorogenic substrate.
Can I get some relevant material on this application Rating: Good

Hello,
I am working on Design probes of Splice variants. During the work I faced following problems:
1.Alignment i.e. to find the region on which probe to be designed what type of alignment should I do out of these.
a.Sequence of all variants with genomic sequence.
b.Sequence of all mRNA with the sequence containing highest number of exons.
c.Or doing multiple alignment of all the sequences.
2. Can you suggest me that from where I can get the information of the exon number and exon junction in the sequence.
I would be thankful if someone help me in this regard.
Regards

Hello,
we have a keratinocytes culture and there is a quite small amount of RNAt which is extracted from epidermis biopsies (3mm diameter and 250µm thickness). is there any society or does anybody works (what kind of technique you use) with very small amount of RNAt (500ng)like an input for gene expression microrrays?
