A online animation on cytokine ELISA assay by C.T.L (BD Cellular Technologies Ltd).
Basic steps of cytokine ELISA assay:
1. Coat 96 well plate with cytokine capture antibody.
2. Add sample to capture cytokines and non-specific bound are washed off.
3. Add biotinylated antibody followed by HRP avidin to bound the cytokine-antibody complex.
4. Add substrate followed by colorimetric detection by spectrometry.
