siRNA experiment guide:

1. Always design 2-4 siRNA sequences for your experiment. An useful online siRNA design tool can be found at Ambion siRNA design tool

2. Chose siRNA with GC content around 40-55%.

3. Purify siRNA when synthesized in vitro.

4. Avoid degradation of siRNA by contamination of RNase.

5. Avoid use of antibiotics in cell culture during siRNA transfection.

6. Optimize siRNA transfection procedure by chosing right combination of siRNA transfection reagents, cell passages and culture conditions.
