Gene Silencing and siRNA Technologies (bio.com InFocus series)

Gene Silencing and siRNA Technologies (bio.com InFocus series)

From bio.com InFocus series online broadcasting (mp3 and pdf transcript available).

Gene silencing involves cellular processes and mechanisms that result in blockade or inhibition of protein expression at either the transcriptional or translation level. Small interfering RNA ( siRNA) and micro RNA are two agents of gene silencing currently being used to better understand these processes at the post-transcriptional level. This webcast will explore what is known about Gene Silencing, and what laboratory tools are available.

The new webcast of RNAi Advances In 2005: Technologies And Applications is available now.
