By facsguy on 07-Aug-2007 I am trying to use ApopTag TUNEL kit for flow cytometry detection of cells undergoing apoptosis. I am wondering why some people use formaldehyde instead of paraformaldehyde for fixation of cells. Anyone can give a data analysis example as how to analyze the TUNEL apoptosis cell population in different cell cycle phase? I conterstain cells with PI and would like to have a detailed procedure for FACS analysis of fluorescein (FITC)/PI cell cycle cell populations. Thanks. Rating: Excellent! Reply
