Ho aggiunto nella preparazione del mio gel SDS di 5 mesi fa. Risultato è che durante la corsa elettroforetica ho uno slargamento delle bande e quando coloro il gel non vedo le proteine. Può essere la causal'aggiunta di SDS preparato 5 mesi fa?

How do I properly load protein into a gel so that the amount of protein each sample well is equal for various samples.

it is really a nice site regarding the troubleshooting of SDS-PAGE but still some aspects of troubleshooting are missed here, i do hope that they will also be added soon.
like there is big band of protein at the top and then narrowing of the band till the end. i have not seen that in this site.
hope such type of problem will be discussed.

Bonjour,
je trouve un problème pour le coloration pourtant j'applique exactement ce qui se trouve dans le protocol. Je charge les puits avec marqueurs de protéines et les échantillons chacun dans un puit bien sûre et pas de problème pour la migration. une fois la migration est finie je fait la coloration dans le mélange d'acide acétique + isopropanol + eau et bleu de bromophénol selon le protocol pendant 20 à 30 min puis dans la solution de décoloration (acide acétique + isopropanol+ eau) mais rien n'apparait.

this is greatful & appreciate efforts. you give the troubleshooting gel photos that is very remarkable.
i also doing with SDS PAGE and face with certain problems related to it which are not showing in your troubleshooting picture.
so i want tell about that things plz give me your e mail address or other contact sources.

this is the first time i am surfing this site i find itvery fruitful.

i am very excited by watching the various gel at the 'Hall of Shame".


this is very nice of troubleshooting the gel problem.



i really appreciate the person who are working behind this work.
