Nonradioactive Telomere Length Assay

Nonradioactive Telomere Length Assay

Telomeres are specialized DNA-proteinstructures found at the ends of eukaryoticchromosomes. Telomeric DNA consistsof small, tandemly repeated DNA se-quences (e.g., human repeat sequence,TTAGGG). These G-rich sequences arehighly conserved during evolution.

This is an alternative telomere length detection method from Roche applied science inc. (PDF file)
