The Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell line is often used to express human recombinant glycoproteins. The CHO cell line can grow in both attached and suspension conditions. In suspension condition CHO cells grow in aggregates and thus make it easy for large-scale production of heterogenous recombinant proteins.
